Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell Rasmus Hojlund for £30 million.
The Danish international scored in United’s last friendly against Bournemouth, but his future at the 20-time English champions is far from certain.
The mood is about to change!

Manager Rúben Amorim would not guarantee that the striker will stay when asked about Hojlund’s future after the Bournemouth game:
“I am very pleased with Rasmus. I don’t know what will happen before the transfer window closes. The most important thing is that the strikers we have work well, improve and help the team – that’s what counts,” Amorim told reporters.
“The positive thing is that Rasmus scores goals. He has good chemistry with the team and is developing. But again, I don’t know what happens until the window closes.”
Højlund himself has emphasized that he wants to stay, even if the club were to bring in a new first striker.

United willing to sell Hojlund for £30 million
However, according to BBC Sport, United are willing to let Hojlund leave for £30 million – which would mean a significant loss.
The club originally paid £64 million for him in 2023, with a further £8 million in bonuses. To avoid losses, they had to sell him for at least £43 million.
Højlund partially impressed in his first season (16 goals in 43 games), but had a weak 2024/25 season with only 10 goals.
RB Leipzig have shown interest as a possible replacement for Benjamin Šeško, but Hojlund is reportedly not interested in the Bundesliga club.
United are waiting for Šeško’s decision
United are clearly waiting for Šeško to make up his mind before making an official bid.
Newcastle recently made a club-record bid for the Slovenian, but it was rejected by Leipzig. United have not yet made an offer, as they first want to make sure that the player himself wants the transfer.
A final decision from the 22-year-old striker (39 goals in 87 appearances for Leipzig) is expected at the beginning of next week.
