It is between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Michael Carrick to take over as interim head coach. Peter Schmeichel, on the other hand, believes the Solskjaer-Carrick-Fletcher trio together would have been a dream team for United where the club stands today.

According to Sky Sports and The Telegraph, the United management will sit down in the same room as Solskjaer on Saturday. Here it will be decided whether the United legend, the super substitute from 2018/19 and the manager who led United to 2nd and 3rd place in the Premier League, is on the “same page” as the management.
