It was a tough points split for Manchester United at Craven Cottage on Sunday. Zero points against Arsenal at Old Trafford, even though everyone agreed that United were the better team. Then a poor point against Fulham, with an almost shocking penalty miss by the safety himself, Bruno Fernandes. It also didn’t help that United’s first-choice goalkeeper created more uncertainty for the occasion.

In the 17th minute, Altay Bayindir was on a turn in the box on a corner kick. United supporters have to thank Fulham stopper Calvin Bassey for not reaching the ball with his head to score. BBC pundit Clinton Morrison summed up: “Bayındır is in no man’s land. He runs straight into the “traffic” and if Bassey gets his head on the ball at the back post, it’s a goal. Why haven’t United learned after what happened against Arsenal? asks the former Premier League striker.

On the same weekend, there are two events. Belgian HLN Nieuws reports Senne Lammens is out of the Royal Antwerp squad and that a United transfer is approaching. The other comes from the light blue part of Manchester. While United sign a 23-year-old from the Belgian league, city rivals City agree with the world’s best goalkeeper, Donnarumma.

Of course, we’ll give young Lammens a chance, but I’m guessing United fans will be looking to their city rivals when Donnarumma pulls on the City shirt.
