Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee is nowhere near deserving of the €42.5 million price tag and certainly not the very impressive salary.
Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini believes he can create the same for Zirkzee as other Manchester United flops that have flourished after leaving Old Trafford.

Zirkzee is a dream signing for Roma.
Roma are second in Serie A, with the same points tally as league leaders Napoli, but attackers Artem Dovbyk (two league goals) and Evan Ferguson (nil) have not delivered in front of goal.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma are therefore considering reinforcements in the attacking line in the winter window. There is also some possibility that Dovbyk and/or Ferguson will leave the club in January.
According to the Italian newspaper, Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee is seen as a dream signing. Zirkzee broke through at Bologna before being sold to Manchester United, where he has not won a starting spot.
Other names on Roma’s list are Arnaud Kalimuendo from Nottingham Forest and Promise David from Union Saint-Gilloise. Mateo Pellegrino (Parma) and Jeff Ekhator (Genoa) are also mentioned as alternatives.
