No matter how you look at it, Manchester United have had a big problem in the striker position this season, after season, this one no exception. Marcus Rashford wants to leave, Antonio Conte is at Napoli as coach. The former Inter Milan coach has proven himself to be an expert at getting Manchester United players who have punctures going at Old Trafford. We think Conte is the coach who can get the joy of play, intensity and finishing back in Marcus Rashford. Napoli also have a contract with one of the world’s best strikers in Victor Osimhen. Here, the parties have turned their backs on each other after a long conflict. Osimhen is a big player on loan at Galatasaray, but wants to return to the biggest leagues.
According to The Sun, Old Trafford is working on a swap, with Osimhen’s £62 million buyout clause being reduced by bringing in Marcus Rashford as part of the deal.
For Rashford, it will be Conte football and a battle for the Serie A title, for Manchester United a Rashford problem away, while the club brings in star striker Osimhen who can help save the season. At a price United can bear.
