JJ Gabriel comes from a football family. his father is Joe O’Cearuill, a former footballer. He was eligible to play for Ireland and Trinidad and Tobago through his parents. – O’Cearuill changed their family name, which is why his son is now known as JJ Gabriel.
During his own playing time, O’Cearuill was in Arsenal’s academy in 2006 and was on the bench of their first team, before signing on loan to Brighton. He represented Ireland at international level and also played for Barnet, before spending most of his career in non-league and retiring in 2016.

The Athletic reports that Manchester United have had crisis talks with JJ Gabriel
Gabriel was close to leaving the club this summer, as several top European teams followed him. Manchester United to act quickly and had a “crisis talk” with the talent, which eventually resulted in a continuation at the English big club.
During the meeting, United tops Matt Hargreaves and Jason Wilcox reportedly “outlined paths” for the player regarding his future at United.
Gabriel hasn’t made his debut yet, but he has been training with Manchester United’s first team. The 15-year-old striker has scored ten goals in eleven games with United’s U18 team in the Premier League’s U18 league this season.
