Alexander Isak’s potential giant transfer to Liverpool has been the big transfer issue on the ball island in recent weeks, but is facing strong competition from a 22-year-old at RB Leipzig. Now Manchester United are raising their bid to a level they were previously not willing to.
Portuguese media outlet Delo claims Benjamin Sesko has decided to play for Newcastle, but there is little indication that this is true, According to The Athletic, Newcastle have made a bid of €75 million plus €5 million in bonuses, German Kicker reports Manchester United are now matching this bid.

Last week, The Athletic United announced a delegation to Germany, led by United’s head of recruitment, Christopher Vivell, who knows Sesko and the RB system well. First as a scout at RB Salzburg, then technical director at RB Leipzig.
With United now raising their bid to a level above what the club was previously willing to give, it means that the signals from Sesko are positive, plus Vivell sees a big upside for his employer in Manchester with the 22-year-old at the top of the United attack.
