Manchester United have taken the first step towards signing Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham, according to Fichajes.

The Red Devils have reportedly made an offer of €150 million for the England international and want to make Bellingham the face of their new project at Old Trafford.

While the deal would represent both a record signing for British football and a record sale for Real, the Spanish capital club is said not to be interested in parting ways with Bellingham, who is widely regarded as one of the world’s best players.

Real insist that the 22-year-old is not for sale at any price and is in a strong negotiating position, with a contract that lasts until June 2029.

Manchester United target Jude Bellingham

Although Bellingham would be tempted by a return to England, he is not considering leaving Real at the moment and remains fully focused on continuing his career in Spain.

The England international, described as ‘one of the world’s best midfielders’, has been a key player for Real ever since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023, helping Los Blancos lift the Champions League in their very first season.

Real have had a turbulent start to the season under new manager Xabi Alonso, who has struggled to get along with several first-team stars following his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen, including striker Vinicius Junior.

The Brazilian reportedly told Real Madrid that he will not extend his contract as his relationship with Alonso remains strained, with his current deal lasting until June 2027.

Real have won just two of their last six games across all competitions and will next face Manchester City at home in the Champions League on Wednesday.
