The whole of Sweden is ecstatic after Graham Potter led the nation to a World Cup ticket. Samuel Dahl did not get a place in the matchday squad, but Manchester United see the potential in the 23-year-old of a national team player and a left-back for the world’s toughest league.
Dahl plays with another United-linked player, Andreas Schelderup, at Benfica, so far there have been 66 games for the Swede at the Portuguese big club.

According to Recor,Manchester United are showing great interest in Dahl, with scouts from the Premier League giant having been in the stands for more than a dozen Benfica games this season with the main goal of following the left-back. According to the Portuguese newspaper, United have been following Dahl since his time at Djurgården, it is expected that the Manchester club will bid for Dahl as early as this summer.
Dahl has been on the pitch in all but one game (except one) under Jose Mourinho. The former Manchester United manager is unlikely to like that the gang from Old Trafford is coming for his preferred left-back.
