The list of clubs that are following now that there seems to be a big gap in what Manchester United and Kobbie Mainoo think should be included in a new deal is long.

There is currently no danger as his deal runs until 2027, but it was written before the really big things, such as national team games, started to happen. The Manchester Evening News wrote in October that Manchester United were close to extending Kobbie Mainoo’s contract, but then it went quiet!

According to the Daily Mail, the negotiations between Manchester United and Mainoo have reached an impasse. The newspaper writes that a number of clubs have joined and that Chelsea have started to move. Chelsea are favourites to sign the 19-year-old if he decides to move on.
