At the end of the transfer window, Manchester United brought in Senne Lammens from Belgian side Antwerp at the same time as André Onana left the club and was loaned out to Trabzonspor.

Despite this upheaval, manager Ruben Amorim should not be happy with his goalkeeper line-up. Lammens are yet to make their debut and first-choice Altay Bayindir has had some problems.

This weekend, Manchester United travel to the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford.

Sky Sports reports that Manchester United’s sporting management, just like all the other transfer windows, prioritizes a big goalkeeper purchase.

Mike Maignan, whose contract with AC Milan expires at the end of the season, is mentioned as a possible reinforcement, and Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez (who was linked with United in the summer) is also being considered.

Maignan shares an agent with Bryan Mbeumo, who arrived at United in the summer, and United’s management hopes that the former contact will lay the foundation for luring the Frenchman to Manchester.

Also on Manchester United’s priority list is a midfielder, Brighton’s Carlos Baleba is mentioned as the most interesting at the moment.
