United paid €51 million (+ €4M in bonuses) for Onana in 2023 after a brilliant Champions League season with Inter, where he was a key player on his way to the final.
But in the United shirt, he has been characterized by blunders, especially in the Champions League group stage against Galatasaray, Copenhagen and Bayern Munich.
After a slight improvement earlier in the season, he has returned to his usual blunders in recent months – which now costs him his place.
