Manchester United are frustrated after Juventus have put a stop to the completion of the transfer for Jadon Sancho.
Juventus have been in talks with Manchester United for several weeks, and it is believed that they were close to agreeing a transfer fee of around €15 million plus €2 million in bonuses.

But even though the deal was practically ready to be signed, TuttomercatoWeb journalist Marco Conterio reports that Juventus have now put a pause in the process.
Conterio claims that Juventus have stopped negotiations and are now considering whether they really want to go through with the transfer.
The Bianconeri have just completed the signing of Francisco Conceição for €32 million and are unsure if they need a player in the same position.
This is bad news for Manchester United, who are desperate to sell Sancho to fund more new signings. They have already lowered the requirement considerably for the winger.
Sancho has agreed personal terms with Juventus and has given the Italian club priority, as he wants to play for them. Juventus were close to signing Sancho last year, but a loan deal to Torino fell through at the last minute, and the player instead signed a one-year contract with Chelsea.
There is also reported interest in Sancho from Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
Sancho will definitely leave Manchester United this summer after returning to the club from Chelsea, and he has been left out of the club’s pre-season preparations.
Sancho, 25, was loaned to Chelsea from Manchester United last summer with an option to buy, but he performed so poorly that Chelsea chose to pay a fine to United to send him back, rather than make the transfer permanent.
Sancho signed for Manchester United from Dortmund for €85 million in the summer of 2021, but he has been a big disappointment at Old Trafford. He scored just 12 goals in 82 appearances for United and has mostly been a bench player during his time at the club.
Sancho has also had problems off the pitch, and in 2023-24 he was frozen out of the squad by then-manager Erik ten Hag. This happened after Ten Hag publicly criticised Sancho for poor performances in training, which led to the winger accusing the manager of lying on social media.
After this incident, Sancho was no longer selected for the squad and was not allowed to train with the first team or use the club’s facilities. He was also removed from the team’s WhatsApp group by Ten Hag.
United put him on the transfer list and loaned him out to Dortmund in January, where he regained his form and helped the club to the Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid.
The following summer, he signed for Chelsea, but continued to struggle.
