Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was loaned to Aston Villa in the January transfer window. According to reports, Marcus Rashford has made a decision about his future after an impressive loan spell at Aston Villa.
In January, the 27-year-old left Old Trafford for Villa Park after falling out of favour with Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim. Since the transfer, Rashford has scored four goals and recorded six assists in 17 appearances for Unai Emery’s side in all competitions.

But now his season is probably over after an injury he suffered last month.
David Ornstein of The Athletic said at the time:
“Marcus Rashford is expected to sit out the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury.”
After showing glimpses of his old form at Villa, Rashford’s future has been a hot topic of discussion with a view to the summer transfer window. Over the past few weeks, he has been linked with a number of clubs, including Aston Villa, Barcelona, and Borussia Dortmund.
But now it is claimed that Rashford has decided what he wants.
Charlie Gordon, senior sports journalist for The Express, wrote on social media:
“Understandably, Marcus Rashford prefers to stay at Aston Villa rather than move abroad this summer. The salary of £350,000 a week is the biggest challenge. A return to Man Utd is still very unlikely.”
There are indications that Rashford is leaning towards continuing at Villa after a successful spell under Emery.
When the Villa manager was asked last month if a decision had been made regarding Rashford’s future, he replied:
“Not yet. The most important thing now is the challenges at the moment – to recover and prepare for the game against Brighton tomorrow. There are many games left. Whether we qualify for the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League or no European Cup at all – or whether we win a trophy – is absolutely crucial.”
Emery added:
“Decisions about each player are about getting the best out of them and us. We will not waste time speculating now.”
