Manchester United continues its search for a top-tier striker capable of competing with Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee. The club has identified a new target.
According to German Bundesliga transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United is seriously considering the signing of Bayer Leverkusen’s top scorer, Victor Boniface. The Premier League giants have the Nigerian forward in their shortlist of strikers being targeted as they seek to end their goal-scoring woes.

Any potential move, however, would likely only become a serious consideration next summer.

Rúben Amorim sees the Nigerian forward as a player who can fulfill a role similar to what Viktor Gyökeres did in his Sporting side.
Victor Boniface has continued to impress in the colours of Bayer Leverkusen, scoring eight goals across all competitions this campaign.
A move for the Nigeria international won’t come cheap as his deal with Bayer Leverkusen ends in the summer of 2028.
