Marc Guehi’s thoughts and feelings have come to light after his £35 million transfer to Liverpool collapsed at the last minute.
According to reports, Marc Guehi is ready to take drastic measures after his £35 million transfer to Liverpool fell through at the very last minute. The Crystal Palace captain appeared to accompany Alexander Isak to the Premier League champions on transfer day, after a £35 million offer was accepted.

After agreeing a five-year contract, Guehi spent most of Monday at Liverpool’s London office to start the first part of the medical test.
A transfer form was completed before the 7pm deadline to allow extra time to finalise the transfer, and the process was so advanced that Palace had prepared a farewell video that was later leaked online.
But Palace pulled the plug, with manager Oliver Glasner at the centre of the decision – according to reports, he threatened to resign before his contract expires this summer if Guehi was sold and no replacement was secured.
Although they brought in Jaydee Canvot from Toulouse, West Ham snatched defender Igor from them on loan from Brighton, and Palace did not have time to bring in a new centre-back.
Guehi, who led Palace to FA Cup and Community Shield triumphs at Wembley, behaved respectfully throughout the process and scored in the 3-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

However, a report by Ed Aarons in The Guardian claims that he is “extremely unhappy” and “bitterly disappointed” to have been denied his big transfer at the eleventh hour, when he feels he has acted in the right way.
While there is no indication that he will lay down his tools, the report says that a source close to the England international revealed that he is considering relinquishing the captaincy of Palace following the situation that left some of his teammates upset.
Guehi is expected to release a statement on the matter, but The Times reports that he has no intention of signing a new contract at Selhurst Park.
His current deal with the Eagles expires in the summer, and he could discuss a pre-contract with foreign clubs in January.

Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all watching, while Liverpool could return for the former Chelsea academy player in the winter window.
Guehi has turned up for the England national team ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia, and Palace’s next game is on September 13 against Sunderland.
