Marcus Rashford, who has spent his entire life at Manchester United, joined Barcelona on loan in the summer transfer window.
The left winger who tends to divide fans has once again become a topic of conversation following Manchester United’s decision to sack Ruben Amorim. The 28-year-old left Manchester United to join Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona on loan last summer after falling down Amorim’s priority list.

The talk has started after the sacking of Ruben Amorim
Since moving to Spain, he has regained most of his old form, as he has so far registered seven goals and eleven assists in 25 appearances across all competitions for Hansi Flick’s men.
Barcelona are currently at the top of the La Liga table, four points ahead of rivals Real Madrid. While Rashford seems to be enjoying life at Barcelona, Amorim’s time as United boss ended on Monday.
The club announced in a statement: “Ruben Amorim has left his role as head coach of Manchester United. With Manchester United in sixth place in the Premier League, the club’s management has reluctantly made the decision that it is the right time for a change. This will give the team the best opportunity for the highest possible Premier League position.”
“The club would like to thank Ruben for his contribution to the club and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
In the wake of Amorim’s departure, Rashford’s future has become a major topic of conversation.
Former United midfielder Owen Hargreaves stated that Rashford could still have a future at the club.

He told TNT Sports: “I hope Marcus comes back because he’s a special player. I don’t know what happened between Marcus and Ruben, but I don’t think there’s any doubt about his talent.”
“I don’t think Marcus should have been in a position where he carried all the weight for everything, in our team he would have been the third or fourth player, so he wouldn’t have had to carry all the responsibility because a lot of it would have been taken off his shoulders.”
Hargreaves added: “There was too much emphasis on these young boys about being the main man and they should never have been in that position at just 20 years old. They needed a striker who was 26-28 years old, and then the youngsters could have learned the game like everyone did before at the club.”
“I think Marcus is a super talent and the club could use him. And with Kobbie (Mainoo), I think he’ll be right back in the team with a game that uses a back four.”
