In 2024, Liverpool focused on persuading Martin Zubimendi to move to Anfield. The Spanish national team star declined. On Sunday, the confirmation came that it was not a no to the Premier League, but a choice of club. For the Arsenal supporters, it was therefore just nice to see Zubimendi line up for the first interview as a Gunner.

Then it was finally in place. According to the BBC, Arsenal are paying around €65 million for the defensive midfielder, hailed as one of the best in Europe.
