The chain-smoking Italian manager Maurizio Sarri is back at Lazio after being out of work since he was fired from the same club about a year ago.
The mission is easy to formulate, but harder to achieve! – Top four and Champions League qualification. – Sarri wants to bring in an old acquaintance he is sure will make the job easier.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has played for AC Milan since joining from Chelsea in the summer of 2023, then under Maurizio Sarri’s leadership.
Sarri, who took over Lazio just under a month ago, was Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s manager at Chelsea in the 2018-19 season, the 29-year-old scored 10 goals in 40 games and helped the team win the Europa League.
Loftus-Cheek played 19 games in Serie A during the season and will be keen on a reunion with his old boss.
