Apple TV has ordered two different documentary series about football player Lionel Messi this year. A few days ago, it was announced that one of the series will debut on Apple TV+ later this month.
“Messi Meets America” will be a six-episode documentary series about the latest stage of Leo Messi’s career, i.e. joining the Inter Miami. According to the creators, it will tell not only about Messi himself, but also his new team and the impact he had on football fans in the US and Canada.
The first three episodes of the series “Messi Meets America” will premiere on Apple TV+ on October 11. The next three are still in the production stage.
