Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior criticised Arsenal after the League Cup semi-final, claiming that his team was disrupted during the warm-up.
Rosenior accused the club of a lack of respect.
However, the coach stressed that he has no problem with anyone at Arsenal or with Mikel Arteta, but that at the moment he did not feel that “The Blues” were being shown respect.
On Friday, ahead of today’s game at the Emirates Stadium against Sunderland, Mikel Arteta was asked about this, reports ESPN.
“I don’t know, that’s his opinion, and of course we respect everyone.
“If anyone in our staff caused it in any way, we apologize, and thus the matter was out of the world. It’s very common in football, especially with goalkeepers since they hit long balls and stuff. So there’s really nothing more to comment on.
Arteta also gave an update on Martin Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka, who both missed this week’s game. According to the coach, they will be back soon.
