Salah announces Liverpool exit after an extremely lucrative offer from Paris Saint-Germain. Mohamed Salah has once again stated that this is his last season at Liverpool. “What he has to do first is win the Premier League.

The Egyptian is in the final six months of his contract at Anfield and is officially allowed to negotiate a pre-contract with non-English clubs. Salah has on several occasions expressed his disappointment that Liverpool are dragging their feet in extension talks and seems to be tired of it all.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the 32-year-old has, not for the first time, insisted that this is his last season at the club, as things stand now. “It’s my last year at the club and I want to do something special for the city,” he said when asked about his ambition to win the Premier League.

“It’s the last six months. There is no progress [on contract talks]. We’re a long way from any progress, so we’ll just have to wait and see.” This will be music to the ears of his many suitors. Mohamed Salah has never been better.

The Reds legend has scored an absurd 20 goals and provided 17 assists in 26 games in all competitions, which has only increased interest in his services.

Salah’s comments come just days after reports from France surfaced, claiming that PSG offered the winger a significantly better contract than Liverpool.

While the Premier League side had proposed a two-year deal with €400,000 per week, PSG were prepared to pay him €500,000 per week for three years.

Salah is known to have a good relationship with PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi, although the latter previously toned down ties with the Egyptian. Of course, the attacker also still has suitors in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi clubs previously tried to convince Liverpool to sell by offering over €100 million for Salah, but the Reds held firm. Now, however, they face the threat of losing him for nothing.
