Molde has put behind them a season that everyone in the club forgets.

Today, Molde signs up for the top match again by hiring an old acquaintance Per-Mathias Høgmo as the new head coach.

Sporten.com expert panel has in the morning hours today adjusted Molde’s medal chances this season.

Molde Football Club writes on its website that Høgmo will take up the position immediately and start by familiarizing himself with the organization and the group of players today, Thursday 9 January. He has signed an agreement with Molde Fotballklubb that is valid for two years, with the possibility of an extension for another year.

“Per-Mathias was the person who hit the most points and scored the highest on the criteria we set for our new coach. He stood out early on, and through good and clarifying conversations, we became convinced that he is the right person to take Molde Football Club to the next level,” says chairman of the board Odd Ivar Moen.

With no connection other than the date, Molde confirm that Danish Anders Hagelskjær (27) is ready for English club Wycombe Wanderers. The Danish centre-back has been an important contributor since joining the club before the 2023 season. Anders has 73 official games in the blue and white jersey.

Hagelskjær came to Molde from Aalborg before the 2023 season. Since then, he has played 73 official matches in the blue and white jersey.

Before coming to Molde, Hagelskjær was in Sarpsborg 08 in the autumn of 2022.

Wycombe Wanderers are currently in 2nd place in the third tier of English football. The club is fighting for promotion to the championship series.

Already on Friday, there is a match against Portsmouth in the FA Cup
