True Nordic cooperation seems with a Danish striker, who has a contract with a Norwegian club sent on loan to Sweden.
Molde is loaning Frederik Ihler to Elfsborg.
“I’m very happy with the season last year. I felt I got into the team incredibly well. Despite the fact that we didn’t get the results we wanted, I thought it was a lot of fun to play for Molde. It was fantastic to play in Europe, and I thought I contributed well with goals”, says Frederik to Molde’s pages.
The Danish striker is officially in place at the Swedish club, and there is a loan deal that is valid for the whole of 2025. “It’s been a quick process, but I’m very happy to be here, and I’m looking forward to starting working here”

Head coach Oscar Hiljemark is pleased with something he says on the club’s pages: “Frederik is a player we have been keeping an eye on for a long time and when the opportunity for a loan arose it felt like a very good opportunity to strengthen ourselves further before the 2025 season starts! We welcome Frederik and look forward to experiencing many of his great qualities on the field.”
21-year-old Frederik Ihler has played 26 games for Molde, scoring seven goals and providing one assist.
Frederik Ihler has a past in AGF and Skive before moving to Swedish Landskrona in the summer of 2023, before moving to Molde last summer.
