Arsenal have one of the Premier League’s best centre-back duos in Saliba and Gabriel. On Thursday, a young Spaniard was brought in as a reinforcement in central defence, the 21-year-old has after an excellent season in La Liga for Valencia shown he does not aim for a backup role in the long run. Cristhian Mosquera is both humble and aware of the speed of development he has had, which has now sent him to the Premier League’s second best club.

-It means a lot to me. There is a lot of hard work behind everything. It’s an opportunity that came, and I couldn’t let it pass me by. When you come here with your family, you really feel how big the club is,” Mosquera begins to the club’s website.
