Galatasaray lead the way in the Süper Lig, six points behind leaders Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahce. Former “the Special One” does not leave the five biggest leagues for Turkish football to finish in second place. In recent months, an increasingly frustrated Mourinho has complained about everything and everyone – and the level of the squad. This is a sure sign that Mourinho is on his way out, but now the club is bringing in a player who will make a big difference – and appease Mourinho.

On Tuesday, Fenerbahce announced they were close to signing Diego Carlos from the bench of Aston Villa, on Wednesday the Turkish club shared a photo of Milan Skriniar.

Fenerbahce reports the defensive giant from his time at Inter Milan until 2023, who at PSG has been relegated to the bench by Luis Enrique, is on the plane to Istanbul and Fenerbahce.

Football-Italia reports the Turkish club will be ready to pay for a permanent transfer, the deal or the amount is still not known.

This is a signing that should appease Mourinho.
