The Spanish striker is on Cesc Fàbregas’ radar in this summer’s transfer window.

Galatasaray sets clear price

Galatasaray have already put concrete numbers on the table: if anyone wants to sign Álvaro Morata before his loan period expires, they will have to pay 10 million euros. With this amount, the Turkish club marks its position in a negotiation that could happen in the coming weeks – especially after Como has shown interest. The club’s president has made no secret of his determination to secure the Spanish striker as quickly as possible.

Morata, who is currently on loan from AC Milan to Galatasaray, could switch clubs mid-season if a deal is struck. The transfer has already received approval from Milan. The 32-year-old striker has attracted interest from the other Lombard team (Como), who want to strengthen the attack with an experienced player with leadership qualities and a good goalscoring flair.

Como wants to sign Morata

Although the loan agreement officially lasts until January, the possibility of an early end is on the table. Galatasaray, aware that the player wants to return to Italy, will be willing to negotiate a transfer for a somewhat lower amount: they will accept an offer of €8 million if the deal is finalized quickly.

The future can be decided soon

The situation is developing rapidly, and all indications are that Morata’s future will be decided before the winter transfer window opens. With Milan out of the picture, the way is clear for Como to pull off a powerful coup and secure a top striker who still has a lot to contribute at the high level.
