It was a clearly disappointed group from Coventry who thought they would be able to celebrate the historic promotion, but it was a similarly disappointed group from Sheffield. Because with a draw, the club stands with 37 games in all competitions without a win.
Derby County stood by the previous record, where the club did not win a single game between September 2007 and August 2008, now it is Sheffield Wednesday who stand alone with the record in English football.
“The Owls” have long since been relegated to League One, Sheffield Wednesday have four games this season to put an end to the negative streak.
