When Swedish Djurgården played their way to the semi-finals of the Conference League, it was a starstruck bunch who thought it was absolutely incredible to be able to play against a giant like Chelsea. The Premier League club ran over the Allsvenskan club with a 1-4 win in the first leg. Bodø/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen was furious about losing 3-1 to Tottenham in the Europa League semi-finals. Bodø/Glimt are anything but starstruck, nor visibly affected by the prize pool that can be won – or lost.
Glimt have already earned their tens of millions of euros from the Europa League adventure, but this does not quench the thirst of the gang at Aspmyra. The thirst to win another match – regardless of opponent and prize pool.

Nevertheless, the success of Bodø/Glimt provides the financial basis to continue working patiently to lay stone upon stone. So even if Knutsen and the Glimt player do not have their eyes on the prize pool, only the Tottenham goal and their players, there is talk of 7 million new euros if Tottenham are sunk at Aspmyra and the Glimt supporters have to throw themselves over the keyboard to book a final trip to Bilbao.
Go Glimpse!
