Scott Parker was considered one of the most exciting young coaches on the ball island a few years ago. He has a cultured appearance that attracts supporters, but had tackles as an uncompromising midfielder for Newcastle, West Ham, Tottenham and Fulham, which testified to anything but cautious-pretty-boy syndrome. Parker has brought his commitment and will to win with him into his coaching profession. This week, he led Burnley all the way back to the Premier League.

Parker has done things at Fulham, then Bournemouth, but both coaching jobs were abruptly terminated, the first by “mutual agreement”. Then Parker went to the Belgian league and had a tough and brief encounter as Club Brugge coach. A few months after he was fired, the club hired Ronny Deila, but the Norwegian did not get much patience from the Belgian management either.

Now Parker is back in the Premier League after his first season as Burnley manager. With success also comes the suitors.

According to the Daily Mail, Scott Parker is a coach Tottenham management looks up to, now the Burnley manager is also on the list of candidates with Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva when Postecoglou is sacked at the end of the season.

The special thing about Parker and Tottenham is that he wore the Spurs shirt from 2011 to 2013, later working as an under-18 coach for the London club.
