Newcastle landed in 5th place in the Premier League, which this season gives Champions League qualification. – The goal for next season is to do well in the world’s most important tournament and ensure at least the top four next year in the Premier League.
Then they cannot lose Alexander Isak, who several big clubs have signalled they want to buy for around 100 million euros.
By addressing the situation, Newcastle’s management will now take steps to secure the player for the long term. Premier League giants dream of signing
The intention is clear: to tie down the striker and ward off the temptation of an exit in the upcoming transfer windows. Isak joined the English club from Real Sociedad and has responded with goals, strength and personality – factors that have put him on the radar of clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.
Newcastle, fully aware of his importance and the growing interest from outside, aim to build their project around the Nordic striker. The contract extension aims not only to keep him in the team, but also to send a signal to the market: Alexander Isak is not for sale, and on Tyneside they are willing to do anything to keep their star.
