French superstar Ngolo Kanté wants to go to the World Cup this summer and he knows that there is no point in playing desert football, even if it is for the best club in Saudi Arabia.

He fought for a transfer to the Turkish big club Fenerbahçe, but then word came that nothing was going to happen.

The 34-year-old defensive midfielder is a Premier League winner with both Leicester and Chelsea. In 2023, he left Chelsea to try his hand at Saudi Arabian football. Of course, with a gigantic salary that made him overlook how boring it is to play football in Saudi Arabia.

Kanté’s move to Fenerbahçe seemed to collapse for a long time, despite the fact that a deal was initially in place. The Turkish club said that the transfer could not be completed due to a problem at Al-Ittihad.

Suddenly, the Istanbul club got the green light and confirmed that the transfer is in the box.

The French midfielder has 65 caps for France and helped win the 2018 World Cup. He is still hoping for a place in the squad for this summer’s World Cup.
