Transfer journalist Romano reported on Wednesday that a meeting was held between representatives from Man Utd and Lecce, where an official bid from the Premier League club of 27 million euros plus add-ons was pushed across the table. The bid was quickly rejected.
Lecce are said to have set a price tag of around €40 million, knowing that Napoli and several Premier League clubs are very interested in securing Dorgu. In addition, the Serie A club needs Dorgu on the pitch for the rest of the season.
