Manchester United had already sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before Danish Christian Eriksen was brought in for free from Brentford in the summer of 2022. – Two and a half years earlier, the Norwegian manager was eager to sign the midfielder in a move from Tottenham, but drew the short straw in a race with Inter Milan.
Now he is working to put in place a transfer, which will be free as 33-year-old Christian Eriksen ended his contract with Manchester United at the end of June.

According to Turkish news site SporX, Turkish giants Besiktas – where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is manager – have now offered the midfielder a two-year contract. Eriksen’s agent has also reportedly received an invitation from the club and is expected to visit them in the near future.
Eriksen has previously been linked with other Turkish big clubs such as Galatasaray and Trabzonspor, as well as his former club Ajax and Spanish Mallorca.
