Jens Cajuste opts out of Besiktas

Il Mattino reports that the Swedish midfielder has turned down an offer from Besiktas.

According to reports, Cajuste has instead developed a love for the Premier League and English football after his loan spell at Ipswich. There are also other options, with Il Mattino mentioning Burnley as a possibility, but it is said to be Crystal Palace who are leading the hunt for Cajuste and who have signalled a price that Napoli can accept.

But it doesn’t stop there! – Ipswich Town are also on the field, the local newspaper Ipswich Star reports that the club has scraped together money for a bid and will present it during the day.

Manager Kieran McKenna, who was allowed to continue despite relegation, revealed that they would like to bring Cajuste back from Napoli before the Championship season, but admitted that it would be a difficult deal to achieve.

Moreover, while Besiktas envisioned a loan stay with an option to buy, Crystal Palace are ready for a clean buy, which Napoli and Cajuste prefer.
