When Victor Osimhen, one of the world’s most sought-after strikers in recent years, chose to solve last summer’s transfer chaos at Napoli by moving to the Turkish league and Galatasaray on loan, the Nigerian international striker was instrumental in deciding the title race. 26 league goals in 30 games gave Gala the momentum the club needed to put Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahce 11 points away from the title. Now Osimhen was supposed to leave the club to return to one of the biggest leagues, but now comes bad news for Mourinho – and Solskjaer.
Solskjaer and Besiktas recently signed former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham and should go into the season stronger, but are dependent on reigning champions Galatasaray not creating further distance with reinforcements. They already have Leroy Sane, according to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have been negotiating with the Saudi Arabian club about a transfer of Osimhen, but the striker has reportedly blocked this.

Because according to the Italian media, Osimhen will continue at Galatasaray, where they will now agree on personal terms in a permanent transfer. That was the easiest.
Galatasaray have failed to meet Napoli’s demand of 75 million euros, where a rental for the last season before the end of the contract is out of the question. Several Turkish investors are therefore said to be ready to help Galatasaray complete the deal, it is claimed.
If Osimhen returns to Galatasaray, this could make the job of Solskjaer and Mourinho tougher. Considerably tougher.
