Robert De Zerbi has seven games to save Tottenham’s and his Premier League status. The tough journey starts against Sunderland on April 12. The former Brighton coach was initially not interested in taking over for the season, but the Spurs management persuaded him to join immediately on a five-year contract. If De Zerbi secures a Premier League ticket, it will be a very hectic transfer market, where “only one player has delivered to expectations”.

In an interview with Tottenham News, Spurs analyst John Wenham predicted big changes this summer.

“All the players are now playing for their future at the club,” Wenham begins.

-The only one who should be exempt from that is Archie Gray, because he has performed exceptionally well, while the rest of the players have really underperformed. It’s very interesting to see how they will react to that, and instead of them knowing that it’s another temporary period and that the manager is leaving at the end of the season anyway, they now know that they are playing for their future at De Zerbi,” the Spurs analyst concludes.
