According to French media, former Manchester United and Juventus player Paul Pogba has been offered to AS Monaco.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is still without a club after Juventus terminated his contract at the end of 2024. Although Pogba has been able to train since January and play matches since March after the doping suspension, he remains clubless.

Earlier this spring, it became known that MLS side DC United had begun talks to sign the 32-year-old. The Washington club has his “Discovery Rights”, which give them the right of first refusal, but the talks never went beyond an exploratory phase.

More concrete were the links to Ligue 1 club Olympique de Marseille, with reports repeatedly linking Pogba to a transfer since the winter. Several high-ranking people in Marseille have confirmed that Pogba was discussed, but they ultimately chose not to sign him.

In recent weeks, Pogba has been keeping a close eye on the market to find the right project for himself, while staying fit in Miami.

Pogba offered to Monaco
As Foot Mercato now reveals, Pogba was recently offered to Ligue 1 club Monaco, who have qualified for next season’s Champions League and are ready to make big reinforcements.

Monaco recently tried to sign Pogba’s former Manchester United teammate David de Gea, but the Spaniard chose instead to extend his contract with Serie A club Fiorentina.

So far, Pogba’s approach does not seem to have led to any concrete negotiations with Monaco, but the link to a club from the principality could be something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

The report adds that Pogba also has suitors from “several” clubs in America and around Europe, although there has been very little concrete movement so far.
