I want to achieve it. I’m still young, and I have the energy, experience, and motivation to try again in the future.”

Caughtoffside’s sources reported in December that Tottenham management have Pochettino as the strongest potential replacement for Frank. His emotional attachment to the club is underlined, with the emphasis on the fact that the Argentine, who lifted Tottenham in the Premier League and led Spurs to the Champions League final in 2019, still has immense support among supporters. It is noticeable in the stands, as Thomas Frank continues to lead Tottenham to another Premier League defeat.
Pochettino is busy preparing the U.S. national team for the World Cup on home soil, but after the playoffs, the Argentine is ready for a new job. At the weekend, Pochettino made another statement about his old club, for us he has now started talking like the manager who will lead Tottenham from the 2025/27 season. “Still today, I think it’s amazing that the fans on the streets are really showing their love and appreciation, and I think that’s why Spurs are so special [to me]. It is a bit unfair to compare this period with now. Now it’s a club that has to think about winning the Champions League and the Premier League. It’s about winning the Champions League and Premier League. Winning the Europa League is good, but it’s not enough. That is not enough for a club like Tottenham. It’s a club that should be, must be in the Champions League, fight and believe that you can win the Champions League and believe that you can win the Premier League.”
