In the next round, she gave no chance to Warwara Graczowa (47th WTA) 6:4, 6:1. Iga Swiatek’s advancement to the third round means a clash with another Polish tennis player. Swiatek will play against Magda Linette.
Their compatriots have not yet had the opportunity to play against each other in professional tournaments. The match between Swiatek and Linette will be only the eighth duel of Polish players against each other in history.
Agnieszka Radwanska and Marta Domachowska competed with each other the most, twice. In addition, the former WTA ranking runner-up also faced, for example, her own sister, Urszula Radwanska. Swiatek, in turn, played against Magdalena Fręch.
