It was a tough night for FC Midtjylland at Brann Stadium. Unlike Manchester City, who had to leave all the points in Norway against Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League, the Danes got one point from the trip to Norway. In Denmark, there was a bit of shock and disbelief that the Danish club could “give up” the victory, with a Brann goal “in the last second” to make it 3-3 in the Europa League, but FCM coach Mike Tullberg makes sure to put it all in perspective: Brann has a furiously good football team.

Midtjylland’s coach Mike Tullberg expected an even duel, the Dane after the game the FCM coach was concerned that Danish journalists understand how good Brann really are.

“I don’t think you’re fair to Brann. We are up here halfway north in Norway on a difficult track. It’s a good stadium with a huge ‘wucht’, as they say in German with the fans,” Tullbert begins, according to Bold.

“You know how much power they can create. They have also beaten FC Utrecht and Rangers. The Rangers won 3-0 over, so there were two clear wins at home. Then they lost to Fenerbahce, where they received a red card. It’s the only game they haven’t won at home,” Tullberg continues.

“It’s a team that plays with what they have, and they do it very, very well. We also have to say that I don’t think we deserved more than one point today either,” explains the FCM coach (former coach of Borussia Dortmund’s second team).
