The Champions League surprise of all time. The phenomenon Bodø/Glimt has earned the biggest headlines in the world press – fully deserved. At idyllic Lake Como, a Premier League legend is building up his phenomenon in Serie A. Now Cesc Fabregas wants to learn from Bodø/Glimt.
Como appears to be one of Europe’s most exciting projects at the moment. Last season, the club was promoted to Serie A, after over 20 years without a ticket to the top division, not only managed to avoid relegation with former assistant coach Fabregas as head coach, but had an exceptionally strong season with six straight wins and 48 points, which secured their place in the top division by a good margin. This season, the club has once again taken a giant leap. Como is in 5th place for a Europa League ticket, three points behind 4th place and a Champions League ticket next season. This is the club that two seasons ago was down in the second division.
