It should not be a nightmare, but a genuine desire to make the trip to Old Trafford. Manchester United fans are understandably nervous, they never know if a good trend will hold, if it will be a win and a big game or a complete disaster.
Before Thursday’s home meeting at Old Trafford, where they host West Ham, Manchester United are in 7th place, with a good margin up to the top four and Champions League play.

Although United have had tough years since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, they are still one of the most lucrative clubs to play football for.
During the last international break, Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz admitted Manchester United as one of his dream clubs to play for, along with clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Colombian said, according to The Metro: “Everything I hear out there, all the talk about one club or another, if you ask me, for me it would be a dream to play for one of these clubs.
“Whether it’s Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid or Manchester United, I’m working towards it, I’m striving every day so that maybe one day I can catch the attention of one of these clubs because it’s a dream for me.”
Munoz continued: “But the truth is that I’m focused on my club, on doing things well at Crystal Palace and I’m not really aware of what’s being said on social media.
“I have no confirmation that any of these clubs want me or are interested in me. These days, my focus is on Crystal Palace and, of course, here with the national team.”
Munoz, 29, has become one of the best right-backs in the Premier League, having delivered brilliant performances for Palace. The Colombian was brought to the Eagles from Genk in 2024, for a reported sum of £6.6 million.
Since then, he has made 82 appearances for Palace, scoring eight goals and winning the FA Cup and FA Community Shield.
