Sold-out padel party in Barcelona – Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals 2025 enters the decisive phase
Barcelona – The quarter-finals of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals 2025 are underway in Palau Sant Jordi, and the pressure around this year’s season finale is now at a level we have hardly seen in international padel. The demand is extreme: the semi-finals on Saturday and the finals on Sunday are already completely sold out.
The tournament brings together the 16 best women’s and men’s pairs from this year’s Premier Padel season. The format is brutally simple: knockout, best-of-three sets, and win or lose from the first ball.
The quarter-finals – where everything is tightened up
Friday’s matches follow the same pattern as the whole week: high speed, technical excellence and pairs that cannot afford a single misstep. With only eight places in the semi-finals, this is the round where the pressure suffocates the weak and lifts the strong.
The weekend is blown up – full stands
Saturday’s semi-finals and Sunday’s double final day are both completely sold out. The Palau Sant Jordi will be packed to the last seat when the world’s best padel players enter the last and most important matches of the year.
This is the final proof that padel is no longer a “new sport” – this is a global audience product that fills arenas on a par with handball, basketball and tennis.
Barcelona confirm their position
Barcelona continues to make its mark as one of the international capitals of padel. Infrastructure, audiences and commercial muscle mean that the city is becoming Premier Padel’s most prestigious destination – and the 2025 Finals only reinforce this.
What’s at stake?
- The last title of the season and the most important trophy outside of Grand Slams
- Ranking points affecting the entire 2026 season
- Prestige between the world’s best couples
- A prize pool of around 600,000 euros, evenly divided between women and men
How to watch the matches
All matches will be broadcast live and free of charge on Red Bull TV, which has the full international rights for the tournament. The broadcasts include studio, analysis and full coverage from the Palau Sant Jordi.
