In recent days, a bunch of transfer journalists and media have reported Manchester United and Napoli have agreed on all the conditions for a transfer on Rasmus Hojlund. Antonio Conte has already put the 22-year-old into the plan at the top of Romelu Lukaku’s injury absence. The redundant United striker will be fed with balls by McTominay and De Bruyne. United now have the Dane completely out of Amorim’s plans. Still, it’s ticking fast towards Deadline Day and still the confirmation doesn’t come. What the heck is going on?!

According to The Athletic, United and Napoli have agreed on a loan deal for the entire current season with an option to buy €44 million. The purchase option will take effect if the Serie A club succeeds in qualifying for the Champions League next season. So the table is set. The problem is that the main character is not ready to sit down at this table.

The English media reports that Højlund still has not said yes to the transfer. Previously, it has been reported that the 22-year-old intends to fight for playing time at United, but after the start of the season, Amorim has made sure to show the striker that he has no playing time at all to expect at United.

Now the management at United and Napoli, Amorim and Conte are waiting for the 22-year-old to have pondered a decision.
