Last season, Real Madrid won both the Champions League and La Liga, without the retired Kroos it could end without titles. In the Premier League, Manchester City have experienced a horrendous season, this without Ballon d’Or winner Rodri. No wonder Rodri is considered the perfect Kroos replacement. Unfortunately for Real Madrid, this doesn’t help much.
Spanish Cadena Ser claims Real Madrid management has named Rodri as the ideal replacement for Kroos. It should not be about the will or the money to bring the Portuguese to Madrid, the big challenge is to persuade the defensive midfielder.

Because according to Sport Bild, Rodri has said he is particularly happy with life in the light blue part of Manchester, and is certainly not looking for a way out. Bild’s claim rhymes well with Rodri’s statement last year.
-When I sign the contract, I don’t think about other clubs, I just think about finishing. So yes, I have a contract with City and there’s nothing else I can say,” Rodri said according to 90min.
Real Madrid will probably have to wait for an opportunity to open up, Rodri has a contract until 2027 and shows no signs of getting restless about leaving Manchester City.
