Los Blancos were interested in him before his move to Chelsea after the 2022 World Cup, and now, a couple of years later, they can finally get their hands on him.

But since Chelsea will make it very difficult for Enzo to leave, this will not be an easy transition for Real Madrid. With this in mind, they are considering another player – also an Argentine international, Exequiel Palacios.
Palacios is a player that future Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso knows well, as the two worked together at Bayer Leverkusen in recent years. But this deal could also be complicated, as Manchester City are reportedly interested in bringing him to the Premier League.
