In mid-January, Real Madrid chose to sack Xabi Alonso. The La Liga giant had won the battle for Bayern Leverkusen’s success coach, Alonso was highly wanted by Liverpool, Bayern Munich and several other of the world’s biggest clubs. The resignation is said to have come by “mutual agreement” as it is so beautifully called, but Alonso would never have resigned if he had the full confidence of the Real management. Several Real Madrid stars are said to have gone in a group against the coach, but the expected results did not materialize. Now there is again “rebellion” against the coach, which should tell us more about the group of players than the Real coaches.
Alvaro Arbeloa was rushed up from the second team to lead Vinicius Jr. Mbappé, Bellingham and the other world stars into a season finish better than the course Alonso was on. This was the plan, when Alonso was sent out of the club after barely halfway through his debut season.

It basically had some of the desired effect. According to The Athletic , the atmosphere in the dressing room improved, with Vinicius Junior in particular able to raise his level. Then things have turned around. In the past month, the arrow has been pointing in the wrong direction, reports the English media.
There is no mention of which players are involved, but Alvaro Arbeloa has anything but the full support of the entire squad. Arbeloa has lost four of his first 12 games as boss of the Spanish giant and won the rest. Two defeats in the last two La Liga games against Osasuna and Getafe show a lot is not going well at the world’s biggest club.
The question is whether the Real Madrid management must now realize that it is massively overpaid players who are allowed to behave spoiled brats, which is the biggest problem.
