Real Madrid have been furious ever since Vinicius Junior won this year’s Ballon d’Or award in favor of the now injured Manchester City player Rodri.- There was no award, but it can become a football club.

According to Maisfutebol, the Real Madrid star is in talks with Portuguese FC Alverca SAD.

Vinicius Junior, 24, looks set to join the ranks of active footballers who are also club owners. A group that includes Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé (Caen) and Al-Ittihad’s N’Golo Kanté (Royal Excelsior Virton) already belongs.

Negotiations have been ongoing with FC Alverca SAD, who are eighth in the Portuguese second division for quite some time. A deal is expected to be signed for around €10 million.

Nothing is said to have been signed yet, but the talks have taken place in a “positive spirit”.

Spanish Cadena COPE and ESPN also report that Vinicius Junior is considering a club purchase.
