Ange Postecoglou could already be on his way back to coaching – in Saudi Arabia.
British The Telegraph reports that Al-Ahli is considering the Australian coach as a possible successor for next season.

Postecoglou left Tottenham last week, just two years after he took over the club. The dismissal came shortly after he led the team to its first title in 17 years – a victory over Manchester United in the Europa League final.

Jaissle could leave Al-Ahli
According to reports, Al-Ahli are considering signing Postecoglou if their current coach, German Matthias Jaissle, were to leave the club.

Jaissle has had success in Saudi Arabia and just led Al-Ahli to victory in the Asian Champions League Elite in May, after a final victory over Japanese Kawasaki Frontale. The team included stars such as Roberto Firmino, Ivan Toney, Riyad Mahrez and goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

The German coach has been linked with a return to Europe, where clubs such as West Ham and RB Leipzig have shown interest in the past.

Postecoglou’s Asian experience
The Telegraph points out that Postecoglou has previous experience in Asian football, having won the league with Japan’s Yokohama F. Marinos before making the move to Celtic and then Tottenham.
